Leaving behind Su Wuhan to stay in a corner of the underground space next to the entrance of the mystic realm, Xuan Hao carried Mui along with him as he made his way out of the underground space an on to what could be considered the surface of the mystic realm where he had encountered the entrance to the celestial trial that ultimately allowed him to meet with the now dead elder of the Mirage Sect.
"Master! What is that over there!?" As Xuan Hao was reminiscing about the short meeting he had with the elder from the Mirage Sect before his unfortunate passing, Mui excitedly called out next to him as she pointed towards the large forest that spread out before them- Or to be more accurate, the large strange looking demon beast that happened to have made its way out of the forest just as the two of them emerged from the underground space connected to the passage leading to the Flying Sword Sect.
"Hm... It should be a turtle demon beast mixed with some kind of snake demon beast? I really can't tell what kind of demon beast this is..." Trying to identify this strange looking demon beast that had the body of a snake with a turtle shell and a turtle head with a snake tongue sticking out of its mouth, Xuan Hao could only give up, as he had never seen a demon beast like that before.
"Even master doesn't know what kind of demon beast it is! It must be really impressive..." Hearing her master's words, Mui could not help looking towards the strange demon beast filled with a sense of admiration.
Although she had no clue how strong the demon beast was as it was still too far away for her to sense with her divine sense, Mui felt certain that a demon beast even her master couldn't recognize was sure to be some kind of impressive and rare demon beast.
Well... It's not really that strong...
Not knowing what to say in response to his little disciple's heartfelt admiration, Xuan Hao could only shake his head as he looked towards the turtle snake demon beast that was only around the Eighth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm.
"Ah, Mui, do you want to try and fight the snake turtle demon beast?" Suddenly getting an idea as he examined the snake turtle demon beast staring at them threateningly from afar, Xuan Hao turned to ask Mui as he wanted to try and use this strange demon beast to train her.
Though the difference in strength between the two of them was three minor realms, with Mui's strange metal balls, she should be more than strong enough to face the strange snake turtle demon beast.
"Really!? Is it not too strong for me...?"
"No, it's only in the Eighth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm."
"Eighth Stage of the... Nascent Soul Realm? Hm... I guess it must be a juvenile snake turtle demon beast..." Muttering the last bit to herself, Mui ultimately took out a few of the metal balls that she was always carrying around with her inside of her interspatial ring before charging towards the snake turtle demon beast in the distance.

In response, the snake turtle demon beast let out a ferocious roar before charging out to meet the rapidly approaching Mui filled with killing intent. Not showing the slightest bit of care towards Xuan Hao who was standing not too far away.

As a result, the snake turtle demon beast just managed to poke its head out of its shell before it came saw three metal balls hurling towards it, one having transformed into some kind of giant metal ball, another into an icy spike ball, while a third created a mist of corrosive poisonous mist that melted anything it passed through along the way.
Roar!
Realizing the deadly situation, it found itself in, the snake turtle demon beast quickly hid inside of its shell again, as it prepared itself for an even more terrifying attack. Not daring to try and escape, as it knew doing so would mean having to face those terrifying attacks without the protection of its shell.
Boom-!
Not a second later, the three metal balls landed on the shell of the snake turtle demon beast. Marking the start of what would be a rather painful experience...
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"This is a rather one-sided fight..." Muttering this to himself as he watched the battle between Mui and the snake turtle demon beast from afar, Xuan Hao could not help wryly smiling to himself.
To call it a fight wasn't fair, as it was just Mui using the different metal balls under her control to subject the poor snake turtle demon beast to all kinds of torturous attacks... And to make things worse, when its suffering was about to end, Mui ended up accidentally using a metal ball that healed part of the snake turtle demon beast's injuries. Extending the time of the one-sided beating....
Well... At least it seems like Mui is having fun. Not to mention, her control over those strange metal balls has been growing more skilled during the battle. Resulting in her now being able to combine the strange powers of several metal balls to create even more terrifying attacks.
Thinking this to himself as he watched Mui skillfully use fire-based and wind-based metal balls to create a large inferno that engulfed the barely intact turtle shell of the snake turtle demon beast, Xuan Hao smiled happily to himself over the progress of his disciple.
As long as it was useful to her becoming stronger, Xuan Hao was more than happy letting Mui continue fighting the snake turtle demon beast. Especially considering that Mui didn't have much combat experience.
In a sense, Mui's first visit to the mystic realm was way different compared to how Chu Yang and Qing Yi had first experienced the mystic realm. Having grown familiar with the forest by having to run for their life most of the time inside of it or try and hide from powerful demon beast roaming around inside of the forest.
Hm? Now that I think about it, a demon beast in the Nascent Soul Realm should be hard to find at the outer edges of the forest, I wonder if something happened since the last time I was here with those two or its just one of the demon beasts that chased after those two back then...
Narrowing both his eyes as he suddenly realized how odd it was for a Nascent Soul Realm demon beast to be at the edge of the forest, Xuan Hao closed his eyes as he momentarily focused his full attention on extending his divine sense out into the forest.
