Chapter 1459 Dissipating Clouds
Chapter 1459 Dissipating Clouds
Chapter 1459 Dissipating Clouds
Having finished seeing how the alchemy hall had developed since he had gone in to lend a hand in its development and ending up lost thinking about demonic cultivators, Xuan Hao continued wandering around in the Shattered Star Peaks without any clear goal in mind for where he was going. Soon enough, he found himself at a small resting spot along one of the small paths that had been created throughout the Shattered Star Peaks to make travel easier for those below the Domain Lord Realm.
Although, with the introduction of the teleportation formations connecting most of the important locations inside of the Shattered Star Peaks, the paths that had been bustling with life a few months ago had all become rather desolate following the introduction of the teleportation formations.
Of course, it didn't mean that there weren't any disciples or elders around using the paths that had been created throughout the Shattered Star Peaks since the Star Shattering Sect had settled down on the Seventh Star Peaks, there were still a lot of disciples and elders using the paths to get to some of the less important locations that weren't connected with a teleportation formation.
At the same time, there were also just those who preferred to walk on their own instead of using a teleportation formation and those who just enjoyed taking a walk through the peaceful and vibrant natural beauty that had by now grown more beautiful and spirited following the increased spiritual qi present in the air.
To make this reality more clear, a few older elders who should have just barely managed to reach the Nascent Soul Realm before their lifespan ran out, could be seen casually playing a game of chess with each other at a small table not too far away, while a group of younger disciples still in the Qi Condensation Realm were sprawled on the ground not too far away with exhausted expressions plastered all over their young faces.
Even from a glance, it was easy to guess that the group of younger disciples still in the Qi Condensation Realm had just finished some kind of exhausting training and could barely move a single muscle at this point in time... And looking at the almost resentful glares they were launching towards the two elders immersed in a game of chess, it was clear that these elders were the ones training them.
12... 17... 20 disciples in total... If I'm not wrong, that should be the number of disciples required to train for one of those repeatable missions given out by the Grand Mission Pavilion...
Feeling a hint of curiosity as he realized that the two elders should be in the process of completing one of the permanent missions found at the Grand Mission Pavilion that involved the training of the sect's younger generation, something that could only be taken on by elders of the sect, Xuan Hao turned his focus towards the two elders and twenty younger disciples who were currently the only ones besides himself at this rest spot.
"Maybe this could really work..."
As one spoke up about a planned escape before their elders noticed that they had recovered their strength, it didn't take long before a second and third spoke up in support. Soon enough resulting in the group starting their little escape attempt by staying out of the two elders line of sight to the best of their abilities.
Even without knowing anything, it was clear to Xuan Hao that none of these disciples wanted to go through another training session from those two elders.
However, Xuan Hao also understood that there was no way these little disciples could escape the divine sense of the two elders-
"Hehe, do you little brats really think you can just sneak away when we aren't looking? I guess you have already recovered from earlier and are ready to proceed with the next step of the training?"
"This-!?"
"H-How!?"
"M-Mercy!"
And so, before the group of disciples managed to get far, one of the two elders had already stepped out and appeared before them to block their futile escape attempt. Earning a rather surprised response from the younger disciples who had no idea how this elder had noticed them when he had clearly been looking in the complete opposite direction from the one they were escaping in.
Watching this from the side, Xuan Hao could not help chuckling a bit to himself at the failed escape attempt as he simultaneously felt the mental burden that had been clouding his mind slowly dissipating alongside the comical scene of a few braver disciples still trying to escape even after being caught.
