no matter how good the explorer union's reputation might be, there was a reason why no major power seemed to be thrilled about allowing them to establish themselves anywhere close to the core of their power.

a worst-case scenario and also a reason why he intended to go to somewhere away from the blue sea empire where he was far more likely to get recognized.
as for disguising himself... although he might be confident in doing so against someone in the dao seed realm, he was highly doubtful he was skilled enough to disguise himself in front of someone in the celestial immortal realm.
