The Demon King's First General

Chapter 34: I Warned You

Chapter 34: I Warned You

Chapter 34 - I Warned YouKizeler's eye was shining purple with a white hexagram pattern.

The man before him looked at it and became curious after seeing the peculiar design of his left eye.

And as soon as he stared straight into it, he lost his ability to move. Then he dropped to the ground, convulsing in a strange position. He yelled in pain, and crackling sounds from his body resonated in the air.

But Kizeler just looked at his suffering. He watched until all of the bones inside the man's body became broken and dislocated.

"Help! My arm!" cried the man.

Then, the next second, Kizeler leaned closer to him and stared into his eyes once again.

"No, d-don't look at me." The man said this before shutting his eyes.

However, Kizeler had already deactivated his Legacy due to the fact that he didn't want to be a murderer. Besides, he knew that living with all of the bones broken was a worse punishment than death.

"That's what you get for touching my woman," he said, then spat at the man's face and went to Priscilla.

His friend was lying on the ground, soaked in a pool of sticky red liquid. Kizeler checked her pulse, and he felt relieved upon knowing that she was still alive, though her complexion was pale due to the loss of blood.

He carried her and walked outside the circle, and he didn't pay any attention to the still ongoing battle.

Not far from the field, Trix came running to him with a healer while tears and snot were flowing down her face.

"Pris!" she cried.

Kizeler laid Priscilla down, and the healer started to cast a healing spell. Then, her wounds began to close, and the color of her skin slowly returned. After several minutes, all of her injuries disappeared.

"She's safe now, but she needs rest to completely recover," the attending healer said, which lit up Kizeler's mood a little.

Then, they decided to go back to their home to give Priscilla further medication.

. . . . .

The citizens of Herish didn't witness Kizeler's fight. Their eyes were focused on the battle between the man from the Duskstalker Kingdom and their prince. They didn't expect that Lex could actually put up a fight, and he did it without unsheathing his sword.

He hacked his opponents with the sword's scabbard and gave them a smack that was strong enough to make them sleep. Even the king and Lex's sister couldn't believe his strength. All this time, they knew nothing about him.

The king saw him as a child who was afraid of brawls, but now he started to cherish him more.

'Hmnn, maybe he's better off being the king,' he thought before taking a glance at his daughter.

Then he asked his confidant, who was watching while standing not far from his back.

"Have you seen this side of him?" He said.

"Absolutely not, your Highness, I think the young prince learned all of this without any guidance from anyone," Gil answered.

"Then, his weapon—it's my first time seeing that thing," the king replied while

Then he looked at Cinn again.

"She will be mad once she sees that thing," he said, and a smile protruded from his lips.

. . . . .

Zeno crossed his arms, then raised his left hand and touched the red dice dangling from his ear while staring at the prince's sword.

'To think that a living weapon is lurking around this place,' he thought.

"I remember someone who would turn crazy upon knowing that something like that existed," he uttered while shaking his head.

'But a weapon with that caliber in a human's hand will create mass destruction at most. Now I'm curious. How deep has he fallen?' He asked inside his head.

"Is it still him controlling the weapon?" He paused for a moment before he continued, "Or does the weapon already take place?"

Then he walked towards the entrance of the capital and leaned his back against the giant wooden door. After almost a minute of standing there, Kizeler arrived, carrying the unconscious Priscilla while Trix was following him behind.

The young patriarch stopped for a second when he saw Zeno. But he didn't say a single word and walked forward. He treated the demon like a stranger would.

However, as soon as he passed by him, Zeno spoke, and his words made him halt his steps.

"Why didn't you kill him? Do you want me to finish him for you?" He asked.

"I don't care! Feel free to do it, as long as he won't die by my hands," Kizeler answered, then resumed walking.

Zeno chuckled upon hearing Kizeler's reply, but he didn't speak any further. Then he looked up into the sky and stared at the sun.

'What if she died? Would you still let him live?' He thought.

. . . . .
